When the solid old NRMA Insurance business floated in 2000, it had its critics. We’re still among them. The haphazard, scattergun, international expansion under the current management team makes us extremely nervous. We’ve seen too many great domestic businesses blow up too much money chasing similar dreams (Foster’s, AMP and National Australia Bank come to mind).
