Leighton Holdings Limited (LEI)

Add Company to My Stocks

Leighton is a great success story (we almost added ‘Australian’ to that description but Leighton is majority owned by German group Hochtief – literally ‘Highlow’). The company is Australia’s largest construction group and contract miner. Its business divisions include dominant industry players like Thiess, John Holland and Leighton Contractors. After some poor results in South America, the group has found some profitable international niches in Asia and is now looking towards the Middle East.
