Things have changed a lot since this company’s original listing as John Singleton Advertising back in January, 1994. In those days its ad agency was one of the hottest tickets in town and it had also taken a 5% economic stake in the Ten television network. The stake in Ten was sold years ago (for a handsome profit) and, more recently, John Singleton has left the building. After a string of acquisitions, the company today has investments in more than five dozen niche marketing and communications businesses. Its name was changed to STW Communications in 2001.
