Sunland is a Queensland property developer. Established in 1983, the company is equally at home building high rise residential towers or new communities on the fringes of major Australian cities. Though it's renowned for the Palazzo Versace Hotel and the southern hemisphere's tallest residential tower Q1, both on the Gold Coast, more recently it wrote off $209m from developments in Dubai. However, it boasts the best balance sheet in the industry by far.
